    Fun fact: When BHVR added symbols in the HUD for survivors to show you what your teammates are doing, the fact that it shows you how much they have recovered from the dying state made Buckle Up even more useless. It's main effect became base-kit and it stayed like that for a long time until it got reworked

    They should add a free perk for both killers and survivors that just doubles blood points for killers and survivors. It has no other additional effect.

      I think that would be terrible tbh cuz so many survivors would run it and basically just waste a perk slot. Solo queue nightmare

      BHVR is already trying to move away from them, for example with the removal of BP bonuses from meme addons and not getting extra BP in X category for whatever perk. I think it was beast of prey or something like that that used to give a BP bonus but doesn’t anymore

    weaving spiders didnt even take off the max charges originally, it just gave them like 15 charges worth of progress that could be regressed

      I may be remembering wrong, but I think that was the PTB perk and it got changed when it got fully dropped to take off the max charges instead. Which is way better

    If anything, Pharmacy is worse now than before because you now need to be injured in order to get the increased speed and reduced noise. And because of the medkit nerf, it doesn't give you a fast self-heal anymore. Perhaps that aspect of it could return. If it could guarantee the old Emergency Medkit, it would become better competition for Inner Strength and Strength in Shadows. This is just an idea though.

      Imo they should make it a rummage perk, and it should grant a special item medkit that heals faster than all regular medkits

      ​@@Hey_Everyponyit should definitely 100% be a rummage perk. there's now another perk that mentions the mechanic by name. dumb that pharmacy does nothing if all the chests are already open. (pharmacy, when active, could show you the aura of open chests that haven't been rummaged through, or maybe appraisal should be doing that, idk).
      but instead of a special med-kit, it should be a basic one, but with the syringe add-on.

      I already used the perk as a budget Strength In Shadows, since I always knew a chest spawned in basement, and could go there for a heal.

    Pharmacy used to be useful in chest builds, but now it only opens chests faster when you're injured and then GUARANTEES a medkit, which makes it useless

    I just recently played against a Legion running Deathbound, which I thought was really clever. Lose-lose situation for the survs because it's so risky staying near each other. You scream & Legion gets either 2 survs grouped up or 1 oblivious.

      Deathbound legion is mid. An oblivious survivor doesn’t appear with killer instinct. It’s why I never cleanse plaything against plaything legion. It nerfs the killer more than me.

      (for the longest time, i thought their power was bugged, and didn't realize the issue was only happening when i brought the add-on that inflicts obliviousness. i didn't know survivors weren't considered in the terror radius if oblivious to it.)

    I still remember the one time BHVR really gutted Mettle of Man to make its activation requirement easier, but also making its effect way worse and also janky to the point they just reverted it back to how it was with a slight change to how its unique endurance worked

    I feel like beast of prey would be a decent perk if they kept the original concept but gives undetectable for 20 seconds instead and reduces the cool down to 30 seconds

      Why not remove the coolddown entirely since its such an awful perk. I don't understand why garbage perks also have cooldowns like ain't nobody using beast of prey wtf!!!🤣

    I ain’t going to spend 37 seconds sitting in a corner to fully heal only to get hit again 3 seconds later😭 half the time you have to run botany for this to even be slightly good and that’s a perk slot wasted just to make one of your other perks not suck

    I’ve had fun with self preservation. When a killer knows you aren’t running iron will, they don’t expect you to suddenly go quiet and get a flashlight save. That’s how I always worked it.

    Before Grim Embrace was buffed, I used to run it in my meme build for Nurse. The idea for the build was perks that had an effect, but the effect was so minimal that I might as well be perkless, just so I could practice Nurse. When I found out it was being buffed, and it was actually going to be meta, I was so sad about it. Never again will I be able to say on a voice chat “these survivors are about to be hit with fuckin Grim Embrace, babyyyy!” and make my friends laugh

    I agree with all of them except Low Profile! I love that perk so much! 1 person on the hook, 1 gets downed and 1 is dead and I get to basically have ‘quiet mode’ from the Twisted Masquerade for 90 seconds? Sign me up! I get to sneak to get the unhook, the person off the ground, move around without any sort of tracking and be sneaky! It’s niche but I love it!

    Fun fact: old furtive chase WAS meta on one killer for one patch, that being old Freddy. Old Freddy saw the aura of any survivor outside his terror radius when asleep, so furtive chase reducing your terror radius in chase gave Freddy hardcore wallhacks, and it was a LOT of fun lol.

    Pharmacy really was not that bad back then. Medkits used to have different self healing speed and the green one was the fastest, meaning it was a legitimately useful tool when you were in a real pickle and needed a fast heal. Right now I honestly wish it guaranteed two medkits whenever, no matter if you're injured or not. That gives you the possibility of renewing the team's item supplies in a predictable way that also encourages Altruism since modern medkits have borderline 0 difference.

    11:40 lucky break actually only hid blood, not blood and scratch marks back then. So it was a sidegrade, still overall a nerf though.

      Exactly! Few people used the 3 minute version because it only removed blood, so it wasn't a problem for the killer at all

    They should add more free perks that have general use applications for all killers. Like one that applies deafened to survivors when they finish a Gen or something. Eventually there will be enough decent free perks for niche beginner builds

    I was thinking about Hangman’s Trick last night, and had an idea to make it counter sabotages and also fit the pig/SAW’s vibe
    When hooks are sabotaged, the hook is not broken, and instead the saboteur is inflicted with exposed for 10 seconds
    I think this is fair considering things like dragon’s grip and haunted grounds that act as “gotcha” perks.

    Two perks I can think of: Premonition and on-release Alert. Premonition giving you a notification when you're just looking in the killer's direction isn't really great, especially when you're on an open map where you can probably see the killer coming. And you won't always get stealth killers (Chucky being the only exception, but even if you get the notification, you won't be able to spot Chucky anyway). And Alert had both a range requirement of 36m within the survivor and a cooldown of 30s. So you'd only get use out of it while in chase, but even then you wouldn't get use out of it consistently.

    Y1 Shadowborn sounds like it would mess up flashlight save timings because you have a chance to blind before the window opens

    Genetic Limits only works on Singularity, you're meant to watch them heal through cams and then start chase once the heal finishes, then they can't use perks during the chase. It can also work well on Xenomorph if you have a perk on that notifies you when someone heals

    I disagree on Pharmacy. Being able to find a medkit after using up a medkit (or another item) was very useful, plus you could use the perk to hoard strong medkits for later trials.
    A perk I would've mentioned instead is original Surveillance: it would only work on up to 3 generators at a time for 16 seconds each, meaning that if you kicked more than 3 gens the perk would turn off, or if 16 seconds passed the perk would turn off.

    Corrective action on lower ranks is great, many new-ish players miss skillchecks and I have seen this perk actually help a lot , saving them from making noise notification to killer and regressing the gen . not to mention vs perks that would block or regress gen even more .

    imo they need to rework Pharmacy to grant some buff while using a medkit, perhaps granting endurance while healing so you can greed heals safely, and then rework the "find a medkit" aspect into rummaging, so it becomes the medkit equivalent of Residual Manifest and Scavenger. Then the chest speed and noise reduction can be repackaged into a generic perk.

    With Pharmacy, say you bring in a different item or medkit and when that runs out you can get another medkit for as many chests as there are in the trial

    Predator Buff Ideas:
    -Survivor scratch marks now only spawn within 1 meter of sprinting survivors.
    -When further than 8 meters of any survivor, gain 3% haste when standing on scratch marks.
    -When a survivor is injured by a special attack, or vaults an obstacle, this perk stops affecting them for 7/6/5 seconds.

    You say Detective's Hunch was bad on release, but Ruin was still in its prime at that point and a lot of the OG maps were absolutely massive. The Coldwind maps were straight up Battlefield size, so a lot of newer players coming in for the SAW chapter were getting destroyed by Ruin and that was just about the only thing that could help them find it. It's a way better perk nowadays but hexes are pretty dookie these days so finding totems isn't exactly hard or worth it.

    I know Low Profile seems useless. But I had a lot of situations, where it helped me escape or help hooked/downed survivors. It even regenerate after saving, so u can use it again later.

    Unknown’s one where you get like 5 percent haste for a couple second after you crawl through a window and only for thirty seconds after you injure someone is so dumb. Like why would you drop the chase to crawl through a window just to get a tiny speed increase

    Honestly Shadowborn is very underrated and overhated. Used it once as a Hillbilly because i was away and didnt know it got changed. But when I get blinded while im breaking a pallet, I actually catch up to them before the next pallet. Good headphones + shadowborn = anti toxic survivors

    Ok, so this is a bit of a hot take, but his is my build on Legion : Discordance (mid-strong), Monitor & Abuse (mid-strong), Bloodhound (meh) Deathbound (meh).
    I'll try to explain why Deathbound is actually quite good with Legion, even if Pain Res or Grim could be better :
    Let's start by understanding the perk : When a Survivor heals another outside of a 32m radius of you, they scream revealing their position. Then it enters a cooldown of 60 seconds during which the healer is oblivious if they get far from the healed survivor.
    First of all, with this damn long cooldown, you usually get really few information throughout the game. However, survivors tend to not heal against Legion, because it's a waste of time as you'll get hit in 10 seconds. The rare time they do heal, is whether there are 3 survivors, to do a quick reset, or if one of them is dead on hook. So the rare times the perk activates, you really get value, either because you have 3 survivors, so a really good chain already, or because you can find the obsession.
    Moreover, the counterplays of Legion consist of 2 things : Separate, and run away if you're in their Terror Radius while they is in Frenzy. Thanks to the oblivious thing, you have at least one uncounterable option : either you are together, or you can't run away because you don't know he is coming until it's too late.
    Finally, one thing that might surprise, is that when Deathbound doesn't activate, you still have info : it means that the Survivors are healing within 32m. If you have a bit of game sense, you can then find them pretty easily, and have at least 2 hits for a good chain.
    I hope I convince you that Deathbound deserves to go from terrible to meh category, at least on Legion. Good day everyone ! Hope to see you in the Fog !

    The funny thing is, the one and only time I played against a huntress with beast of prey was pretty scary. Because she was chasing a differend survivor and I think I had a flashlight and wanted to blind her if she downs the survivor, but all of the sudden I heard no terroradius anymore. So I stopped and was standing still out of confusion....until she reapaired on the right side and hit me....I almost got a heard attack....😅 my friend only heard me scream XD

    For Low Profile I don't know if you've taken into account that it can trigger multiple times. From all my escapes, nearly 1/3 is due my low profile cause it was easy to make the killer lose you since it has nothing to track you!

    Bring back old pharmacy. I thought pharmacy didn't have any synergy back then, but with Reactive healing, desperate measures, Resurgence, etc. Those perks make pharmacy in a weaker state decent and medkits help others faster so botany and empathetic connection could be combined with Pharmacy for a medic build.

    I know it never saw official release but it’s crazy to me they thought 2 minutes and permanent broken was worth 10% on every gen. Not knocked off but just added repair progress. That’s 2 kicks. Or one kick and 20 seconds

    I am super late to the party but I shall comment anyways.
    Low Profile should be reworked entirely, possibly to make it so when you are in the terror radius of the killer and they down someone noises are suppressed and you leave no blood or scratchmarks for 30(?) seconds, making it useful for pallet/flashlight saves. Left Behind (Bill perk that shows hatch) would then be buffed to have Low Profile's current effect with no timer attached. Helps make Left behind's niche more effective and just makes sense imo. Lightborn should also be buffed to have Shadowborns effect and Shadowborn can jump off a cliff or something idk. Maybe shadowborn could be some type of aura reading perk, showing survivors that you are not in chase with for 5 seconds after a successful basic attack. Something like what would be cool.

    Deathbound pairs well with forced penance. Either they stay together and risk becoming broken, or they separate and deal with the oblivious
    Only defence i have for septic touch is meme builds.

    Here's how you fix death bound: Make the distance they need to stay within 4 meters so not only do certain killer abilities forcably trigger, but also you can separate them through chase. I would also say reduce the distance they get the effect to 24 meters, but there's counterplay in having it be the exact distance of a default terror radius. I do think 32 meters is a bit too big because once they know you have it they can heal closeby and punish you for bringing such a conditional perk

    Déjà vu is actually such an OP perk and if you run it, you will not get three gen’d. For it to be literally considered the worst as trash, it is so good and will 100% keep you from three genning yourself.

    knockout isn't bad even now (at least vs a solo q match) as it hides their aura even when initially downed, so if you don't have a bead on the killer's location you still won't until they get hooked.

    I completely disagree with that Pharmacy decision personally. It was bad, sure, but 80% chest opening speed? It gave a fair reason to open chests! Especially for challenges involving them. Sure, more medkit now but the loss of the 80% was devastating to say the least.

      They did. Thalitas perk is budhet Blood Pact
      Tho Blood Pact at least has aura reveal if you or the obsession is injured.
      Idk, i always run Blood Pact, so I prefer it to Thalita perk, because the hate there ends if you get injured even if you are together
      I did once use Blood Pact with the Thačita perk to test the speed. And boy were ypu fast with double haste. MFT had nothing on the speed

    Idk why but I feel like hangman’s trick could just abandon that whole anti sabo feel and lean into Amanda’s rigged trials and idk like if someone unhooks a survivor off a S-hook they could like injure healthy survivors or like force both into a deep wounds state cause sabo is annoying but I feel like it’s kinda like light born it just feels like a crutch perk that develops bad habits and makes you more paranoid about those plays I don’t like band aid perks and I’m sure most people would rather have interesting perks that like did things

    Back when green medkits were good, when farming bloodpoints I would run Pharmacy to escape with medkits and stock up on green meddykits. I liked the free quick heal every game, and one less chest solo queue teammates will waste time on. "But that's a waste of a perk slot," --so was WGLF for 2x BP 🤕 but that's just how the game was back then (and much easier to escape, too imo)

    Hex: Pentimento. Yes, the affects of pentimento are good, but it requires the killer to remember totem spawns, which they rarely do, requires the survivors to cleanse dull totems for its full effect, an unlikely circumstance, And requires the survivors to not immediately go totem hunting once they realise pentimento is active.

    Original Surveillance from pig was really bad. All it did was highlight the last 3 gens you kicked in white for a whole 16 seconds,and then if someone got on the gen it would turn it back to red. You couldn't even get to another gen in 16 seconds on some maps making the multiple gen effect useless and even then what are you gonna do with 16 seconds? If somebody came by and tapped it during that time you could probably just see with your eyes that they tapped it.

      They recently added in the Yamaoka maps. I think there was some voting in Japan on which animal to add, and Tanuki won. There's also an achievement once you find it.

    lol Even still Gearhead is only useful if a survivor is using Hyperfocus + StakeOut AND is actually good at skill checks still (or fully charged up stakeout)...at that point they're basically glowing for the full 30 second duration after that M1 hit lol. It's so freaking useless XD

    Absolutely wrong about Self-Preservation. It realy shines when you play with a friend. If you are being targeted and someone takes protection hit you get 10 sec to make a move and lose the killer. If your friend is targeted and they go down you get 10 sec to get into position for a flash/pallette save regardless of you being healthy or injured. IMO they shouldn't buff or change this perk as it would be too easy to abuse as a swf
